INTERVIEW WITH MR ANDREW MCKENNA MANAGER OF MCDONALDS COMPANY

INTERVIWER: Good morning! It is 10 o’clock and we have with us the present-day director of McDonalds, Andrew J. McKenna.
Hello Andrew, welcome to our radio programme. First of all, thank you for spending your time here with us today.
ANDREW: Hello, I’m so glad to be here, it is a big pleasure for me.
INTERVIWER: Nowadays, your company has become one of the trendy fast food restaurant all around the world. Do you think that McDonalds has been the one which started the fast food trendy?
ANDREW: Yes, I do. When we started the first McDonalds restaurant in 1940, almost anybody knew about this kind of service, the product began to spread and it became more and more popular. Now there are lots of new fast food companies which have followed our steps to build their own famous restaurant.
INTERVIEWER: What do you think is the main advantage of McDonalds?
ANDREW: It is clear that people enjoy our food, not only for its quality but also for its price.
INTERVIEWER: As you know, a lot of news talk about the bad quality and non-healthy meat. I mean, studies have shown that your meat is harmful for your customers.
ANDREW: Well, I have heard about this kind of rumours and I claim it is a complete lie. We care about our clients, that’s why we own the best farms to produce our meals.
INTERVIEWER: Focussing on advertising, we all can recognise the logo and the motto of your brand. Do you think it will change in the future or is it the hallmark of the company?
ANDREW: What we pretend, is to continue being recognised for a long time, so answering your question, it won’t change.
INTERVIEWER: Thank you Mr McKenna, we haven’t got more time to continue. I wish we could have you here soon again. Good luck with your business.
